Job Description
The Usability & Design department is responsible for user experience design, usability engineering, industrial and user interface design as well as frontend engineering of all Brainlab products. We are looking for a User Experience Designer (UX/UI) with a passion for designing complex medical software and healthcare related applications that are both beautiful and easy to use. You will join a team of User Experience Designers within the Usability & Design department at Brainlab.
As a User Experience Designer (UX/UI) your responsibilities will be
- the whole UX continuum from concept, information architecture and interaction design, all the way to user interface design. For this position UX and UI Design are weighed equally, strong visual design skills are mandatory
- to discuss, communicate, specify and create design solutions like wireframes, prototypes, mockups or style definitions.
- to work closely with Usability Engineers on multiple ongoing projects in parallel and to synchronize with the User Experience Design team.

Qualifications
- Education in user experience design, interaction design, communication design, media technology/design, human factors engineering, graphic design or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
- Passion for both conceptual work as well as visual design and a good sense for details
- Affinity to complex, technical products
- Excellent skills with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Great communication skills for a high amount of interaction with a variety of stakeholders
- High self-sufficiency and multi-project juggling abilities
- Prior work experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Compelling portfolio with work samples that showcase your UX methods and UI design skills
- Proficiency in English, German on a conversational level would be great
