EXPERIENCE INTRAOPERATIVE SPINE IMAGING AND NAVIGATION

At this year’s EUROSPINE, Brainlab will be presenting the latest in CT imaging with Airo® Mobile Intraoperative CT, a scanner designed to function inside existing O.R. suites.  Overcoming conventional intraoperative imaging limitations, Airo addresses imaging, navigation and patient positioning needs.  High CT image quality increases surgeon confidence and supports advanced minimally invasive surgery.  Airo functions seamlessly with Brainlab navigation systems to provide high-resolution diagnostic-quality image intraoperatively. Communication between Airo and Curve™ make connection to Brainlab image guided surgery systems swift, image transfer automatic, and the merging of pre- and intraoperative scans a snap. Brainlab Spinal Navigation supports a wide variety of imaging devices and offers seamless integration to correspond with the sugeons’ various workflows.  Navigation of implants and instruments is possible in 2D imaged, 3D scans and MR or CT datasets in all stages of surgery – from incision planning to implant placement.  The broad instrument integration allows the surgeon to choose from a variety of instruments that best suit their surgical needs.  Brainlab Spinal Navigation enables accuracy for pedicle screw placement, and reduces X-Ray exposure for both the surgical team and the patient compared to conventional surgical techniques.1,2 Visit Brainlab at the DePuy Synthes booth #72, Hall C2 to experience how our Spine Navigation helps deliver confidence on all levels.
