AIRO NOW AVAILABLE IN JAPAN

Brainlab is pleased to announce that Airo® Mobile Intraoperative CT has received regulatory clearance (‘Ninsho’ approval) in Japan. Overcoming conventional intraoperative imaging limitations, Airo addresses imaging, navigation and patient positioning needs directly in the O.R. Airo is ideal for spinal, trauma and cranial procedures, designed to function inside existing O.R. suites. High CT image quality increases surgeon confidence and supports advanced minimally invasive surgery. Airo provides full Hounsfield soft tissue imaging that offers better definition, aiding in clinical decision-making. The scan volume of D 51.2 x 100cm allows surgeons to image the entire spine in a single scan. The extra-large gantry opening accommodates versatile patient positioning while the minimal system footprint allows for flexible setup and transportation in and around the O.R. Airo functions seamlessly with Brainlab CurveTM Image Guided Surgery, making high-resolution diagnostic-quality images quickly available to surgeons for navigation.
